Patricia, PMHNP-BC

Patricia is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing and treating patients with medication management and supportive therapy.  She is experienced in a wide range of psychiatric disorders.  She offers ongoing care and guidance to her patients and believes in the importance of integrative care such as lifestyle modification, nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Her nursing career started on a cardiac/stroke unit, the emergency department and inpatient psychiatric unit, where she worked as charge nurse.  During her time in the emergency department she began to understand the importance of mental health in each patient across the lifespan and made the decision to pursue her passion in mental health.

Our goal at Freedom Family Practice is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and empower our clients through supportive education and client centered care.

Patricia completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at State College of Florida and then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Walden University.  She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners.  She is also an Adjunct Professor at Webber International University.

Patricia and her husband of 25 years, have three children, three dogs, 2 cats and a tortoise.  A Colorado Native, she enjoys hiking in Colorado, traveling, spending time with family, pets, and likes cooking.
